Spring Break - Disney Day 1

Now that we have a child in "real" school, we have to travel with the masses. I was a little hesitant to go to Disney during Spring Break, but with proper planning and patience, it CAN be done.  We checked into the Contemporary Resort on the morning of our first day. We got there before lunch, and surprisingly our room was ready. After getting settled, we ate an early lunch at the Wave before making our way to the Magic Kingdom. The most important thing on our agenda for the first day was to make the Festival of Fantasy Parade.  We had not yet seen this, and I think I was the most excited one ;) We scoped out a perfectly shady spot and waited very patiently for the parade to begin. It was such a cute parade. The girls loved everything BUT Maleficent's dragon.

 It was a late, but wonderful first day! And as usual, we had to get our rest for a very busy second day!
